Parking lot paving is an important element of your property upkeep, and making repairs or doing maintenance over time protects your investment. Afterall, parking lots are the primary entry to your business and contribute to the overall customer experience, including safety and traffic flow.

At Ford Asphalt Company, we know that there are many advantages to using asphalt versus concrete for your parking lot. Asphalt is a durable and cost-effective choice that is easy to repair quickly — and we can help.

Parking Lot Repairs

We specialize in repairing and maintaining existing parking lots in and around St. Louis. If your asphalt parking lot needs some work, we offer the following services:

  • Standard asphalt overlay – Adding a 2-inch layer of asphalt on top of your existing surface
  • Perma Flex™ overlay – Adding a unique asphalt mix between old and new layers to prevent cracks from reappearing
  • Excavation and replacement – Removing the existing asphalt and totally replacing it
  • Simple patches – Repairing trouble areas without completely re-paving your parking lot

Or, if you’re just looking for a cosmetic update, consider our asphalt sealcoating service. It will give your parking lot some extra protection, while returning that rich, dark color of fresh asphalt.

Featured Project: Parking Lot in St. Louis, Missouri

Parking lot repair is commonly required at retail locations with customer traffic. When Neiman Marcus needed to repair and refresh their parking lot in St. Louis, we roto-milled the existing pavement and installed a new 2″ asphalt overlay. The Repair Process

Because your parking lot is important to the everyday workings of your business, we understand that you want the repair process to go smoothly and without delay. To make sure your project stays on track, our team will work with you to coordinate the details from start to finish.

Our standard overlay process is as follows:

  1. One of our team members will visit the location with the property manager owner to walk through the site and discuss priorities based on your budget. For existing clients, we’ll meet with you once a year to do a walk through.
  2. After evaluating the property, we’ll put together a scope of work and present our proposal.
  3. When you’re ready to proceed, the schedule will be coordinated with you.
  4. The day of repairs, your parking lot will be prepared through cleaning and debris removal, if needed.
  5. We’ll apply a primer coat so that old and new asphalt can adhere and then lay the new asphalt surface on top.
  6. By the evening of the same day, a subcontractor or other company is able to paint the lot as desired.
